Nicola, Ian, Dan and all the Girlings team join local communities in celebrating the Coronation.
Our congratulations to Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on this historic occasion.

Girlings is delighted to be a sponsor of Sherborne’s inaugural Travel Writing Festival from 14-16 April 2023.
At its heart is the idea – and the timely theme – of reaching for the horizon. To propel the journey, a stellar lineup of top writers will take to the stage at the Powell Theatre.
Without the real sounds of life, you miss out on important information. This means your brain must work harder to fill in the gaps – which can be tiring – making it harder for you to stay sharp in every moment.

Girlings is delighted to have received recognition today from the Sherborne Business Awards, winning two major awards: Independent Business of the Year and overall Business of the Year 2023. It means such a lot to have our independent, family-run business recognised in this way.

We are grateful in 2022 to have enjoyed a full year of business and to have largely recovered from the challenges of the Pandemic. We thank all our clients for their loyalty during this period. We are pleased to have also supported many local and national good causes this year, as we do our bit to give back to our communities.

Girlings is delighted to support this year’s Christmas lighting up event in Fordingbridge on 2nd December.
We have chosen to make donations to both the Fordingbridge 1st Scout Group and to Fordingbridge Rotary, to help them in the excellent work that they do for the community.

This year, we have continued our tradition of charitable giving to the Royal British Legion by commissioning an additional commemorative statue, made by veterans, of the representing ‘Unknown Women in War’. This figure, along with our ‘Unknown Tommy’ features in our Remembrance window displays, along with commemorative posters and poppies.

Ian and Dan are embracing MOVEMBER to help create positive change and awareness for men’s health and would welcome your kind support. Throughout the 30 days of November, they will be growing impressive moustaches and collecting in our clinics in aid of men’s health charities.
Your ears collect sound, but it’s your brain that actually understands it.
Good hearing helps your brain stay fit throughout your life—and helps avoid many other health problems. This means that hearing health is brain health.
