Regular maintenance of your hearing aids is so important and enables them to work at their best for you. Here’s a useful ‘How To’ video from Widex about changing the domes/ear tips on your hearing aids.
Hearing aid domes are small silicone tips that attach to the end of thin/slim-tube behind-the-ear (BTE) or receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aids, fitting securely inside the ear canal. They come in various shapes and sizes, holding the hearing aid speaker in place while preventing feedback (whistling), and enabling sound to be channeled directly into the ear canal.
