What makes Oticon Reveal different?
The majority of hearing aids work by turning down background noise so that speech stands out. One, Speech AI, focuses on following voices and keeping conversation clear. The other, Context AI, works to preserve the meaningful sounds happening around you. Together, they aim to strike a natural balance in real time, rather than turning down the background noise so the speech stands out.
Oticon describes Reveal as the world’s first hearing aid to use this kind of dual AI processing.
- Comfortable and discreet with an all-day battery life – The Oticon Reveal comes in a compact miniRITE rechargeable style with a slim wire to the canal, and is available across a range of power levels to suit different degrees of hearing loss. Full charge is designed to comfortably last through a full day of typical use, with a quick top-up option for busy days.
- Modern connectivity – Streams calls, music and podcasts directly from compatible Apple and Android phones, and is ready for Auracast, the emerging technology that lets hearing aids pick up broadcast audio in places like theatres and airports.
- Feedback control – The new feedback optimizer in the Oticon Reveal is designed to manage the whistling or squealing that can sometimes affect hearing aids, particularly helpful for anyone who has found this frustrating with previous devices.
- Support for single-sided hearing loss — a new companion device, Oticon CROS RE, has launched alongside Reveal for people who have little or no useful hearing in one ear.
